What's For Dinner? (A poem about my son)

What's for Dinner

Mom I'm hungry
I thought you were Alex
When are you cooking?
I'm still thinking
But I'm starving!
Grab a snack
There is nothing!
Are you blind?
Have an apple

I don't want one
I'm cooking now
I need food!
Can't you wait?
What time will it be done?
When it's finished
I can't wait!
Want it raw?
No I don't
Ok it's done now
Eat your food
This is good
Is that all your eating?
I thought you were starving
Mom I'm full
I can't eat no more
I am done.

  1. Sounds like my youngest and dining out! Dying, starving, blah, blah, blah. Then orders a full meal, picks at it, and is full. I can't wait until she is out on her own, cooking, cleaning it up, or paing for it! Oh, and she doesn't like leftovers either!

  2. This is pretty much a daily occurance as soon as he gets home from school! Starving....dying ready to pass out from lack of food. You know how it goes.
