A few days ago after work Russell and I went over to one of the rental units. Nobody was living in it at the time. Anyhow he had to take out a window that he was going to put new glass in. So it turns out he has the wrong key. I volunteered to climb in the window. He got a bucket that was in his truck and I stood on that. I got about half way in and my foot got stuck so that my leg was kinda in a split. I finally got so that the top half of my body was on the inside and pulled the rest of myself in. This window was only open about maybe 2 1/2 feet and I'm no contortionist! It was kinda funny though. I didn't expect to be a cat burglar. He got the window out finally and yesterday went and put the repaired window in.
The weather has been awesome. Yesterday was such a beautiful day that all you needed was short sleeves. The snow is gone except in some areas where they made big piles of it. This weather here is just so odd because it goes to such extremes. But the sunny days sure do make up for the freezing days. It's supposed to be in the 50's all this week and that sounds good to me.
I have been working on painting our bedroom. I've been doing those window pains which are a pain in the butt. There are 12 panes to paint on each window and that is why it takes so long. Also I had two good sized holes to fix in the walls and a ton of nail holes to fill in. When I'm done I'm going to get some curtains to match the bedding. It will be black as I mentioned before so Russell can sleep during the day when necessary.
This morning I got up and put hair dye in my hair and while it was setting gave myself a facial with that peel off stuff. My hair is setting right now. It will be interesting to see what color it turns out. I dye it a light brown but sometimes it comes out a reddish tint even if I use the same brand of dye. I think I'm going to find a color I like and stick to that.
I've got a bunch of stuff to do before I go to work later so I better get off here.
