Finally some sunshine.

It was sunny again today and quite nice out. I do think there is more rain in the near future though. The wonderful sunshine must have drawn out all the people out of their hiding places because work was a madhouse. Very, very busy. People were quite pleasant though so it wasn't too bad.

I finally got my memory for my computer and just have to wait for Russell to put it in. I'll be happy when my computer runs a lot faster and it should with this upgrade.

I watched a neat documentary on Netflix called Bloodline. It was about the bloodline of Jesus and Mary Magdeline who were said to be husband and wife but it was covered up. I've watched and read a lot about this subject and have come to believe this. They said it was pretty much unheard of for a Jewish man...especially a teacher like Jesus was to be unmarried and would be looked down upon. Here's a picture of Jesus and the pregnant Mary and the fact that they are holding their right hands together symbolizes marriage. Anyhow I find the whole idea of this to be very interesting but not surprising at all.

I hope y'all have a good weekend.
:)

  1. Glad it is sunny where you are! It has been cloudy, rainy, and very cool here. Are you working this weekend? I hope you have some time off!

The hilarious thing is that the Catholic Church is so obsessed with the "sinfulness" of sex that they won't even consider the possibility that Jesus may have been lawfully married to Mary Magdeline. As a Rabbi, there is nothing that would have prevented him from being married. Indeed, it was (and still is) expected in the Jewish faith that clergy be married.

I don't think it would detract from his divinity if he had a wife and children. If anything, it would further fulfill his destiny to be both mortal and deity concurrently.

  3. I've never understood why some people can get so bent out of shape over the idea that Jesus may have acted in human fashion while he was here. It doesn't lessen him in my eyes. And it doesn't really matter to me if he was married or fathered children. I think people have a difficlut time thinking of their religious leaders being capable of the throws of passion, as it were. We don't like our heroes or saints to be too human, I guess.

Glad Russell knows how to add the extra brains into your computer--hehe! Hurray! And at least you got some sunshine down there. :):) Even with no sunshine--having a wonderful weekend.

  4. The whole scope of Dale Brown's Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons, and his latest book, which I can't remember the title of, is breath-taking.

I'm not sure why, if Jesus had been married and had a child, it would be "covered up". The Church (the only one at the time) developed some pretty strange notions about sex and women in general though.

  5. Glad you got some sunshine. :)

We're getting a nice mix. Proper Autumn weather... Chilly, but sunny, with the odd shower.

  7. I also read about this topic too much, after coming across Da Vinci Code.If the facts are pretty clear then Church should go ahead and accept it.

Also read about Jesus Life in kashmir.Thats is another interesting aspect of Jesus life. Some theorists claim that death of Jesus on Cruxifiction was staged. He did not die.He escaped to Northern Parts of India where he spent rest of his life and later was buried there.
