Every Day Is A New Day

and a chance to start over. Time sure seems to fly by the older you get. One day seems to meld into the next. But every day is a new opportunity to start fresh and put the past behind us. We don't need to wait for the start of the new year in order to do this. We can begin right now! Isn't life great? Sometimes I look at myself and say.....I should be doing this...or I should be doing that. But you know what? I'm doing exactly what I'm supposed to be doing. The Universe is great that way. We are allowed to create our lives in the way we choose. We are allowed to learn from our mistakes. I remind myself how lucky I am to have everything that I have including a job in these times of economic stress. I have a wonderful man by my side and he's the best! Everything that I've been though is somehow a part of the person who I am today. It may have been a bumpy road with lots of detours along the way but in the end it all leads to the same place. Awareness of who we truly are. It's harder for some to get there than it is for others, but it's always well worth the journey. I hope your journey is enlightening as mine has been.
I hope y'all have a wonderful day.

  3. Looked like you had deleted a post where you were feeling down and frustrated. If you ever need an ear, I'm a good listener. soulcomfort (at) gmail.com

I totally agree with you--in that we are who we are because of everything we have experienced. The good and the bad. Especially the bad--those tests have the most opportunity for growth. Hard to believe beautiful things can come out of such ugliness, but they can. Takes a lot to be thankful for those very trials. Sometimes it takes many, many years to see the bigger picture. I think you have big picture eyes. :):)

  4. My mom always tells me, "Get rid of those 'shoulds'!! They are as bad as the 'what could of beens'."

Someday, I might even listen to her.
