Is there someone in your life who has affected the way you think? For me, it is Wayne Dyer...among many others. I read that statement and there is so much truth to it. We can get plastic surgery,acquire material items or climb that career ladder but you know what? It does not change who we are inside. We are so much more than that. We are something that is impossible to describe with mere words.
People spend a lifetime seeking yet they don't even know what they are looking for. They think they will be happy when they lose weight, they think they will be happy when they buy this...or buy that. They think they will be happy if they win the lottery or make more money. But they will only obtain that happiness when they wake up and realize that what they are looking for is within....and always has been.
Very true. When you are happy within yourself, you are basically happy anywhere doing anything or nothing. You feel it when you have lost that focus or inner balance and can get back there shortly. :)
ReplyDeleteAmen, Barb! That's it, and it still shocks me that there are people who a) believe they ARE their bodies!! How absurd!! and b) that this life is all there is. It just seems ridiculous when you consider all the dimensions that make up the multiverse, and all the celestial beings that inhabit them! I guess I am blessed to be able like you to sense these things intuitively.
