Awakening
Looking past the outer shell
The vehicle we call the body
Container of the soul
In this incarnation
Of the human experience
Looking deep within
Past the superficial being
Living in a materialistic world
Trying to remember
Who I really am
Reaching beyond the feelings
Hate, Jealousy, Anger, Fear
When I awaken
I begin to realize
All that matters is LOVE
Life is a lesson
Of searching, seeking, learning
Then the realization
That what I've been looking for
Is who I've always been
