I hope this blog does not sound too depressing. At this time I'm using it as a way to get out my feelings about the situation that's going on here. I feel like I'm on an emotional roller coaster. Right now I feel pretty good after reading some very enlightening emails. George sent me a couple of emails and some of the stories he has written. He's such an imaginative writer and I love reading his stuff. One of them is a kids story about an alien that I plan on reading to my son tonight. I hope my son enjoys it.

At this time my son is the only thing that is keeping me sane. He is one of the most loving kids ever and I'm so lucky to have him. He's always telling me he loves me and giving me hugs and kisses. Who would think a boy at the age of 12 would act this way with a parent? God has blessed me. :)

I need to somehow create a more positive attitude for myself. Feeling so depressed as I have the past week or so is starting to take a toll on me physically as well as spiritually. There has to be a light at the end of the tunnel.

I have this prayer on my fridge on a little card and it's from the Unity Church in Charlotte that I used to go to. I'm putting it on my desk now to remind me of the love of God.

Prayer For Protection
The light of God surrounds me;
The love of God enfolds me;
The power of God protects me;
The presence of God watches over me.
Wherever I am, God is!
