Saturday Stuff

Joseph, Angel and Julian have been over here since Wednesday night. They had no school on Thursday and Friday and their other Grandma had to work so they have been here. My son however did have school as he's in a different school system. So as you can imagine with 5 kids over here including Mercedes, things have been a bit hectic. Joseph and Angel seem to fight quite a bit. But I have noticed that if you talk to them in a calm, relaxed manner then they seem to stop it. Today the kids have been really good with their chores. They are all given certain things they have to do and today they did it without even bickering. And they were discussing who would do what tomorrow. I think that's a good thing! There is so much for the kids to do here I don't see why they'd ever not have a way to keep busy. There's a great park down the street, a new basketball thing in the front yard, they have a playstation, a guitar hero game, skateboards and so much more.
I have lots of things to do today and I feel like I'm procrastinating again. I'm going to get myself motivated like I did when I went out job hunting and get everything done. I am so looking forward to going to church tomorrow. I think tomorrow I'll write a post about the beliefs of my church. But for now I'm going to get to work and do the things I need to do. Blessings All.

  1. With 5 kids in the house, it's a wonder you didn't need Valium or some chocolate, let alone worrying about procrastinating today!! As I always say, "Do it today, do it tomorrow!"

Ohhh.....I need something stronger than valium my dear. The chocolate sounds good but maybe along with that I'll have a whole pitchers of pina coladas. Does that sound like it would go good together????
