The Weekend

Finally, it's the weekend. It's nice to have a job where I have the weekends off. When I worked at Wal-mart I had to work at least one of the weekend days and many times both. Once in a great while they'd give me the whole weekend off but that was rare. Even when I was off on the weekend it was kind of useless. I got the bright idea of going on 3rd shift so I could be home when my son got home from school. Before that they kept putting me on the 2 pm to 11 pm shift and I'd never get to see him. So basically I became a walking zombie. I'd try to change the schedule that I was used to and stay awake during the day. All that said I won't go on 3rd shift again. Unless maybe the money was really good. ;)....really really good.

Tonight the kiddos are coming over for the weekend. I told Alex I'll take him and Joseph to the skate park tomorrow. Fun, fun, fun! I don't know yet what else we will do tomorrow. Sunday will be church. If I can ever get myself up (which is unlikely) I'll go to bible study before church. This is really a long shot that I'll make it that early even though I really want to.

I really want to go to Old Town and go walking around there and maybe take some pictures. They are working on the road I need to take there and it's full of detours and I tried to go one day but the detour was taking me all over the place so I finally just decided to go home. A woman at work told me that the road was not going to be done till January of 2009! That's the way construction work is here in NM. Very slow.
