Happy Sunday

This is the blanket I've been working on. It's crochet and comes out really heavy so it's nice and warm. If anyone wants the pattern, it's very easy and I'll put it on here. This one I'm making is sized for a twin size bed. I bought this craft stuff to work on when I was stuck in SC and had none of my stuff there and nothing to do. I think eventually I may make them for all the grandkiddies and my son.

Except for the tornadoes, I like living in Oklahoma. They were doing a siren test a couple of days after we got here and boy was it loud! At least we know we can hear it where we live. We got this radio thing too that you leave on all the time and if there's a tornado in the vicinity it will give you a warning. There is no storm shelter here at the house. Russell's parents are about 5 minutes away however and they have one.

Things are real cheap here. I can't believe how inexpensive it is to rent or buy a house. Food seems to be about the same or a little less than it was in the Carolinas. I always shopped at Aldi there. I love that store, I can get so much for so little. I did an Aldi search online and found out there's an Aldi 35 miles from here. It's a little more than I used to drive to go to Aldi in SC so I'll probably just do one monthly shopping trip there. My van gets great gas mileage and with their low prices, it's well worth it.

I'll probably take some pictures of the town soon and put them on my blog. Wishing you all a wonderful week.
Blessings
