Sunday Morning

I hope you're having a wonderful weekend. Lets see....what's new? There's really not much new at all. When I'm not on here trying to think of things to write....then I come up with all kinds of stuff. But then, hours later when I actually sit down to write it, my mind goes blank. haha. I worked last night and it was very busy. That's because it was the 1st of the month and that's when all the food stamps and other type benefit type checks come in. Luckily I missed the worst part of it because I was working later in the day. I didn't buy any of the really cheap marked down Halloween candy either! I don't need it so why buy it?

Yesterday I ordered a new exercise program called Tony Horton's 10-minute trainer. I'll have to see if he can whip me into shape in 10 minutes a day. OK so it's not really 10 minutes. It's 10 minutes of total body, 10 minutes of lower body, 10 minutes of cardio and 10 minutes of yoga flex. It looks like a great program but it was a pain in the butt to order. When I went to check out it kept asking me if I wanted to upgrade, add this, add that blah, blah, blah. I just wanted the original 10 minute trainer, no extras. I want to see if I like it first before I add on additional things. Jeeze.

I put some books from on the right side of my blog. They are some of the best books I've ever read (life changing) so I thought I'd share. I won't put any books on there that I have not read and only ones I rate very highly. Feel free to check them out. :)

One more thing....I'm learning to do a bit of HTML. I did those buttons under my picture on the right side. I did use a website that made it so easy that anybody could do it though. It's kinda fun.

Well I guess that's it for now. Have a great day.

  1. Good luck with the html. I was into it a few years ago, but I'm really not anymore.
I just make too many typing mistakes for anything to be even partway reliable!! You seem good at it though!
Shame about the candy though. marked down in price? Candy? What's not to love?
Came here from Tori's blog. She gave you an award!

  2. I am so impressed with your buttons. I am wanting to learn to do some more things to my blog! Kudos to you!!!

  3. I like messing with basic html, but I've been out of touch for awhile and they went and changed everything! Good job on the buttons.

I am trying to avoid the sale candy too. Tough when we shop at a small store where everybody knows us. At least it is a good time to make the local guard force happy - we buy several bags and let the kids hand them out as we drive past checkpoints!

  4. As Jess just told you, I gave you an award on my blog. Meant to come tell you yesterday but didn't get around to it.

Wish they did that with Halloween candy here! They do it with Easter Eggs and some places do it with Christmas treats... Oh well, I've got the leftovers from the stuff we had for trick-or-treaters. ;)

Good luck on the html. It's lucky I learned to do it before I lost my sight because that's how I position stuff in my posts now. I go in to the edit html tab.

  5. Conversations with God was a life changing read for me also. And of course once you read the first one you just want to read all of them. One of my favorites is the New Revelations.
