I FEEL NAKED

when I go to work without any makeup! haha. It's 6:30 am and I'm sitting here drinking my 3rd cup of coffee trying to wake up and get prepared for going out into the cold. It's in the 20's out right now and I'm going to start my van up before hand and let it warm up for at least 15 minutes before I leave for work. It's only supposed to get up to the 30's today. I don't like this cold weather. Since 1993 I've lived in warmer weather places (NM & SC) and it's hard to get used to this cold. In those states there were many days in the winter when I could go out with just a shirt on (no jacket). And I did wear pants of course! ;) I have no cold weather stuff such as a heavy jacket, hat and gloves so I'll have to buy some.
I've got my makeup on now and my van should be nice and warm so I'm off to work. I get to come home at 11 for lunch and I noticed that when I do come home at that time it makes the day seem to go a lot quicker. These early days are not much fun but by the end of the day, I'm glad to get off early instead of just going in at 4 pm.
Thanks for reading! Have a wonderful day.

  5. I'm down here in the warm weather - Florida. I'm from Virginia...which...that's not hardcore cold...but - it'll get in the teens, it'll get below zero once in an odd while. Rarely. But now, I can run around in shorts on New Years Day and all. It throws you off, your 'mental cycles' or something like that. When you're used to distinct seasons - and then it's just warm all the time. It throws me off.

I would scare off my customers if I went to work without makeup!
