Do I know you?

Do you ever have someone come up to you and swear that they know you when you have never before seen this person in your life? Or you wrack your brain trying to figure out where you know them from? Try to figure out that familiarity? You know that you know them on some level but just can't figure out where. That's because we incarnate on this earth in what are called soul groups. These groups are people that we come into this life with time and time again and go through our life lessons with them or they are at least connected in some way to our lives even if it is only a single moment. These people can have either a negative or positive impact on our lives. I've been thinking about how there are times when I meet a person and I get this really bad feeling, sometimes a feeling of evil or dread. It may not be that they are evil, but that I've had a bad experience with them in a past life. I'm a believer in past lives because I have so many memories of them. Just for the fun of it.....go to google and type in soul groups. It's interesting stuff to read. I've heard about this from many sources and it takes a lot to convince me of anything because I can be quite skeptical at times. I think being a skeptic is a good thing because it makes me want to study and learn new things. I enjoy being a life long learner? Do you?

  1. I've always suspected there were actual cases of 'Deja Vu' when it came to things that happened in life.

Perhaps the amnesia of the "newly (re)born" isn't totally complete.

One of the down-sides to having a dissociative disorder is that I have met people who have met one of my alters but haven't met *me*. It's always an odd experience.

  6. It's hard for me to know if I've had that experience, because - where I live near where I grew up - most people really do actually know me. And those who don't either know a member of my family, know of me, or know someone - or are related to someone - who does know me. Problem is, I couldn't tell you half their names, and - in many cases - couldn't tell you where I know them from. But every time I've asked my Mam about people who come up to us and say "hi" and seem to know us, she knows them. Or at least knows a family member or good friend of theirs.

I do think this is a possibility though... It sounds logical enough.

  7. I worked with the public for years in Minneapolis and had that happen to me all the time. It was usually because I had waited on them--as a waitress or a sales clerk--and am pretty friendly, I guess--hehe!

I do believe in the soul group--or soul family--being very likely. I have occasionally had the distinct feeling when I very first meet someone that I have known them before. Some for postive and some for negative immediate feelings, so I know what you mean. I have learned to trust the negative feelings (and not talk myself out of them like a nice Minnesotan--hehe!) and keep my guard up and/or avoid those people. If I can't avoid them--they usually have some big (unpleasant) spiritual lesson for me about how to cope with them in a more positive manner than I probably did in the past--hehe!

I am fascinated by all of these things! :):)
