Sunday Night

It's raining again. I went to work in a light mist and it was the same when I came out of work. Russell can't believe that I love this kind of weather.....but I do. I love the mist and the rain. But I don't have to be outside working in it like he does sometimes so maybe that's why he feels differently about.

A new business opened up next to Russell's work and it's an auction place. He brought his boat there and his go-cart. The go-cart was in the back yard and we figured it would just get stolen too so he just sold it. Hopefully the boat will sell soon. At least that way he can get what it's worth instead of having it in the front yard with a for sale sign on it.

I got a nice new printer, copier scanner for my computer only to bring it home and find out I did not have enough memory for it. Then, my monitor died....my nice flat screen one. I'm using one we had around here for now. So now I have to buy a new one and more memory.

I got this DVD called You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay. If anyone has the opportunity to watch this I highly recommend it. I've been using the affirmations that they recommend and it really is working. You really can change things in your life by changing your thoughts. It's amazing. :)

It's been nice lately when I come home from work and dinner is ready. I came home last night and when I called to say I was on my way home....he said hurry up before dinner gets cold. I was wondering what he cooked this time. Turns out he cooked KFC . ;) He did a good job at it too.

  1. Nothing quite like that hot meal waiting for you when you come in the door is there? :)

Boats must be a hard sale in today's market. But then you always see them for sale all over the place - so they hopefully change hands all the time.

  2. Rain doesn't really bother me either. The only weather I avoid going far in is snow, and that's only now that I have to use the cane... Using a cane in snow is extremely difficult! I used to walk Kero in any weather though... Sun, rain, hail, snow... I'll go out in them all! I mean, isn't that what coats and wellies are for? ;)

Hope he got a decent price for the go-kart, and gets a decent price for the boat.

I've never liked KFC... Kelly absolutely loves it. But not me! Even when I was still eating meat I wouldn't eat KFC... I've never liked the taste of fried chicken. I was always very picky with how my meat could or couldn't be done.

  3. Sounds like you have had your fill of computer problems, I hope you get it all worked out! I was going to get a flat screen but now again I here another story about them having a short life.
    Russell sounds very thoughtful.
I love the rain too & we don't get enough here!
I need to visit more often!

  4. Hi, Barb! I actually like misty weather, too, but in the last few years with the arthritis getting worse I've begun to dread it a bit. I have the Louise Hay book and really enjoy it. Well, hubby just cooked up some ice cream from WalMart! Yum. See you later. D

  5. I hate computer problems. I don't know what I'd do if Dagan and Leah weren't nearby to help me out? I hope you can get a computer with more brainpower--or give your current one more brains. I have no clue how to do those things. Dagan can build a computer, so I usually get rebuilt ones from him if one dies.

I've heard about the book--You Can Heal Yourself. Sounds like it has some of the same pricipals as The Secret--with the thoughts and all?

Good time to sell what you don't need. Clearing out stuff is good every so often. I hope he's lucky selling the boat. :) And so nice of him to have dinner ready for you. No wonder men like to have wives--hehe! Well, in the days of old when the wives did everything at home. Notice I didn't say "good" old days! ha! :):)
