Tuesday

Not much going on here today. I woke up at 2 am since I'm so used to getting up early and went on the computer for awhile and did a lot of cleaning. Tuesday which is my first day off during the week, most of the time is usually my cleaning day. The house smells really good now. I'm in the process of doing laundry as well. I've done a bit of sewing lately. Aside from the cloth napkins I made (20 of them) I finished up an apron that I started some time ago. I think this is a time for completing unfinished projects. I had a handbag that I started some time ago and did not finish (I think it was in SC!) and when I find it I'm going to work on that. I've been looking for it but not with much luck. I think it's somewhere in the closet with all my craft stuff which is in my office/sewing/exercise room. Did I mention that room before? I just love it cause all my stuff is in there and it feels very peaceful. I can listen to Hay House radio online while I sew. I still have not organized my craft stuff. I might work on that a bit today and hopefully I'll find the project I was working on.

At work yesterday I was alone in the bakery and a couple came in to order a wedding cake. I had to go get the woman who does cakes so she could help them. Anyhow when they were done, she was telling me that all they did was argue about the cake. They couldn't agree on anything. How do you start a marriage out like this? They were an older looking couple who looked beaten down by life so what chance do they really have? We got to talking about marriage....and what we think about it. I don't think in this day and age that is necessary. I used to think it was but now so many marriages end in divorce....way more than half of them and even more so if you marry as a teenager. I got married at a really young age and boy.....I wish I knew then what I know now. I'm sure we all say that. I realize now that at that time, I didn't know a thing about love. There's no way I could have known but nobody could have told me otherwise. I thought I knew it all like all teens do.  I believe in committed relationships but what difference does that piece of paper make? People these days don't seem to give relationships 100 % and throw in the towel way too soon. It's about unconditional love. You have to love a person despite their faults because we all have them. You have to love someone even when you don't like them very much. Things aren't going to always be perfect because life is a learning experience and we learn from our mistakes.  I've never known of a relationship where there are no ups and downs,  no highs and lows. It's a part of the growing process. There can't be one person who is in control.  A marriage or a committed relationship is considered a partnership for a reason. Happiness in a relationship can't be dependent on money and that is a problem I've seen over and over. We are not here on this earth to accumulate wealth. We are here to WAKE UP and remember who who we truly are. It's so simple. If people could just quit living in EGO and live in spirit instead the world would be a different place. :) Don't you think so?

Ok I see that I'm starting to ramble on now when I should be looking for my sewing project. I'll take some pictures when I get some more of the stuff done.
I hope y'all have a wonderful peace filled day.

  2. I do know one thing... I'm glad you met your sweety! You and him seem to be a "real world" good example of how things could/should be.

I think weddings have become circuses and totally out of hand productions. No one needs to spend thousands of dollars first thing in a life together.
