Every Moment Is Precious

Having so little time together these days with Russell working so much makes me realize how precious every moment is. We were talking last night on the phone about our *phone* relationship. It's almost like when we first met online and only talked on the internet or phone. At the time, we didn't know anything different so we were happy with that. I guess I'm getting used to it now but still looking forward to when they hire one more guy at his work and he does not have to work so much. I also try to look at the bright side and be happy he's getting so much overtime and no longer on salary as he was for quite some time when the economy took such a down turn.

I've got a few things I want to do today. I want to go downtown to the used bookstore since I have not been there in so long. Maybe I'll find a couple of books to read. Russell  suggested that I look for a mirror for the bathroom he's working on. And I'm going to try to take off a board that is on the frame of the front door so if he ever gets a chance he can fix the storm door. The frame was damaged by the high winds of the ice storm we had this winter.  All I've got to do is get out his cordless drill and take out a bunch of screws. I think I can handle that one. The last thing I want to do is go to one of the local stores and get a roast so I can make him a pot roast in the crockpot. I like to cook his favorite things. :)

Well, that's it for my Monday stuff. Hopefully I get it all done. Have a wonderful day!
Peace and Love to y'all.

  1. I hope you got everything done that you had planned. :) I'm newer to your blog so I didn't know you had met Russell online! Nice to hear when it works out for someone--awesome! It will get better. Maybe this period of time really makes you both appreciate each other even more. ;)

  3. I bet pot roast cooked with love tastes 5 times better than regular pot roast.

:) It is really nice to see such caring and love.
