Lets see....we have had over 3 million toy recalls from China and tons of food recalls from there as well. We have Walmart who asked China to produce cheaper toys so China is using cheaper materials to produce them. That cheap crap evidently had lead in it. They said the dollar store toys are probably the most dangerous. Is the world going crazy? Do they care if they are giving our kids lead poisoning? Now today it was on TV that air fresheners are dangerous due to something in them called falates (sp?). They can be dangerous to males causing sperm and sexual organ damage. I believe that something needs to be done about overseas products that we ship over here just because they make them cheaper with slave labor. We need to have more laws in place and more testing done and fines when products are found to be unsafe.
Now lets discuss Autism. In 1999 one in 3,000 boys would get Autism. Now it is one in 94. When I heard this it made me so angry. What is wrong with this picture? It is believed that it caused by vaccinations. I know know that if I had a baby boy (or a girl for that matter cause they get it too) I would think long and hard before getting him/her vaccinated, probably opting not to do it until more information came out.
Well these are just some thoughts going thru my head today.
