Just Call Me Mrs. Stepford Please (The New Me)

Oh dear, I'm just so tired. What a day. I got up at 6 am. I dressed in my favorite dress, freshly starched and ironed and put on my favorite high heel shoes. Did my hair in a fancy updo and I think it looks quite nice. Then I packed my son's lunchbox with a lovely sandwich on homemade bread. Then I got my honey off to work and kissed him as I handed him his lunch as he was going out the door. I washed all the laundry, hung it out to dry and now it's all ironed and put away. I made 4 dozen cupcakes, all fancily decorated for the bake sale tomorrow. In between I washed floors, vacuumed, made beds and scrubbed toilets. All in my dainty little high heel shoes and pearls. I still have the mending to do as well as the dusting. In a bit I'll pepare the standing rib roast for dinner along with the new potatoes and baby peas. Yes, we must not forget the homemade dinner rolls. I have prepared a lovely jello mold for dessert. Yummy! When the man of the house comes home I'll greet him at the door with a martini and when he sits in his favorite chair I'll bring him his slippers and the newspaper and give him a backrub. A Woman's Work Never Ends, that's the motto I live by. ;)
THANK GOD! Then I woke up.........

  2. That's alright, dear! I put on my frilliest apron, reapplied my lipstick, made a pot roast dinner and now I feel much better!
