My shoulder hurts and it's even hard to sit at my computer. I've had bursitis in it quite a few times in the past and it seems like I have it again. It will go away in about a week or so like it always does. I seem to get it at least once a year. Getting older is not much fun. Here's something funny though. Russell is going to be 50 in a year and I told him that is the age you need to be to join the AARP. Then I notice that day that he got something in the mail from them. I don't know if he's noticed it yet but I'm going to be sure to show it to him. ;) I always tease him about being that age but I'm not even that far behind him. Age just kinda creeps up on ya like the rising tide...there is no stopping it and all we can do is make the best of it. With age comes wisdom and the realization of what is really important. I like being this age a lot better than I liked being in my 20's.

I have to say I'm very happy to see that Hillary won the NH caucaus. While she is a very strong woman who knows what she wants at first I did not like her. Then when I really listened to her, her causes and what she really had to say I changed my mind. She said something funny yesterday on the morning news....she said it took a Clinton to clean up the mess the first Bush made and it will take another Clinton to clean up the mess the second one made. I love it. hahaha

I think it's time I take down the Christmas tree. I don't see anyone else doing it and it isn't going to put itself away. Anyhow I'm getting tired of looking at it and it takes up a lot of space. Well....such is life. Barb will do it.
Peace to you all.

  1. I think I'm going to have to go back to the doctor. Not only is my hip acting up, but now my right arm from the forearm up to my shoulder. When a girl can't even move a cup of coffee to her mouth, something has to be done! This getting old is tough!

As for the AARP, on DH's last birthday, not only did he get his invite to the AARP, but he is now age qualified to live in his mother's retirement community! Big laughs were had by all!
