God-Do you know her?

Do you believe in the Mother God? Just about every civilization since the beginning of time has worshiped a Mother God or Goddess. What has happened here in this country that makes it feel taboo to worship a Mother God? In Genesis in the old testament......And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness......

Whatever we choose to call her.....Earth Mother, Cosmic Mother, Fatima, Azna, Isis and so on.....it really does not matter. They are all one in the same. Mother God can appear to us any way she chooses.

There are missing books to the Bible called the Gnostic Gospels. So much has been left out and things are not always as they seem. Call on Mother God in your prayers and she will not fail you.
Peace and Blessings

  1. Very well put! I wish everyone shared this opinion rather than persecuting one another for believing in "a false God" as they put it. People need to take a step back and look at the wider picture, then they'd see that it's all the same God/Goddess, it's just that people see him/her in different ways/forms.

Ever since I have been on the Wiccan path, it has been a wonderful experience being able to pray to the Mother Goddess. For the first time in my life, I feel loved when I pray.

Halo also loves the Mother Goddess.

Thistle has a rather unique take on deity. While he is a firm believer in the divinity of Jesus, he does not see God as a particularly "male" figure, but rather as a loving, kind, androgynous being.

    Ashen's take on God: "Phooey!"

Willow doesn't seem to see a big difference between seeing deity as male or female, so long as deity is loving.

  3. I have an interesting belief system that I might one day try to explain on my own blog, but the short answer would be, yes, I do believe in the Goddess. My long answer would likely be a long blog post... might turn up on tomorrows blog post, I already posted today's.
