Yaaayyy I'm off work tomorrow and after I do my cleaning and laundry, I'm going to be lazy for the rest of the day. I have to pay the household bills also and I may go check out a secondhand bookstore downtown. I've been there once and most of the books there are not really my type of book (romance type) but there are a few sections that look promising.

I made spaghetti and meatballs tonight....for some reason I was really craving it and once I got it made I wasn't really hungry! Jeez after I went to the store and bought garlic bread and stuff...what a bummer. Russell is still working, he should be home soon though. I'm sure he'll eat some when he gets home.

At work there has been a problem with some of the young teenage cashiers texting on their cell phones while working. I guess the csm's got tired of it and one of them made up signs to go on each table that the printer is on. The funny thing was that several words on it were misspelled! I thought the whole thing made the cashiers look like idiots! I'm sure the customers could see them. What they said was this: Anyone caught using a cell phone for texting then your going to be "coach". It should have read you're and coached. Maybe I'm too picky about spelling but come on....this is ridiculous. Coached means you are taken in the back and talked to. To me this sounds too much like kindergarten where one little kid is bad and the whole class has to stay after school. What I think the csm's should have done is not to lump everyone into one group and put those silly signs up but instead....take the ones seen texting aside and tell them....you are no longer allowed to bring your cell phone on the floor, it has to stay in their lockers. And if they do it again, then fire their butts. Well they did end up taking down those signs today while I was on break. I think maybe management saw it and made them take them off.

Gas is down to $2.39. Not too bad but I heard it's cheaper in Oklahoma city. Maybe I should drive 45 mins to save a few cents on gas? Haha....I've heard about people who actually do that!

So....it's been a pretty good day today. I'm really liking this city, my job is pretty decent and I LOVE MY MAN! Even if he can be a pain in the butt at times. ;)

  2. Nothing like being reprimanded in writing by someone who can't spell! Hard to take them seriously!

And on your last sentence? What man, young or old, ISN'T a PITA sometimes?!?! I have yet to meet one!

  3. I guess we (men) are all pains in the butt from time to time. By the way, my wife associates me with the scare crow from the W O O. :)

  4. I'm just moving downstairs. The owner of my four-plex lives below me and he is going to retire and move to Mexico so I will be managing the units and taking the downstairs. It has a huge back yard and I will get $230 off my rent:)
Last Christmas my husband took a boxed spice cake mix and added shredded carrots and raisins and made it into a carrot cake, the best I ever had. he also made homemade cream cheese frosting. I'm going to make the cake but I bought frosting. He is a great cook, that's who I learn from.

  5. It sounds like you are doing pretty good! Crude Oil prices are supposed to go up next week, so you better gas up while you can!I agree with your idea of taking the "offenders" aside, rediculous to do it any other way!
    Take Care!

  6. I have never made spaghetti and meatballs :x I love them, but for some reason have never made them.

I just asked my son and he said the gas at the station we get our gas at is now $2.54

About the rice, I didn't measure it, I guess it was about 5 spoon fulls. The soup that has it already in it doesn't have a lot of rice in it. Oh and I used one of those big cans of tomato soup because I had a lot of pork chops and I added more green peppers and onions because we like them.
