I came home from work a couple of days ago and noticed that the rosebush in the front had more roses on it than I have seen all summer. And they looked really good too....very pretty.
Then I looked at the thermometer and it said 80 degrees. Indian summer sure does feel good.
But then I went into the house and it's only 66 degrees....too chilly and I had to have the heat on. Is that strange or what? That's a big difference. So I opened the door for awhile and it warmed up in the living room.Still I love this warm weather and I'm glad that fall has decided to make a return. For awhile there it seemed like it went straight from summer to winter. The backyard is all covered with fallen leaves and that looks pretty too.

ReplyDeleteFall is my favorite season but unfortunate we do not have indian summer yet....been very cold and wet. Makes for a hard fall for harvest.
Glad you got a bit of warm weather before Winter really sets in! :)
